We are going to perform a little experiment. Among some of the reading that I have been doing is on the excellent website of BloggerUnleashed. Vic Franqui is an experienced internet marketer. He suggested and showed that you could make money online if you are able to get your web pages indexed. It is important to get your web pages indexed by Google. There are times depending on what Google thinks of your blog or website that it may take a while for your site to get indexed. If your site does not get indexed then it is not going to rank for the keywords that you have chosen.
One of the ways to do this it to put in a search for a term that Google does not have in its index. You should put this search in quotes. Apparently, Google recognizes that it does not have this search term in its database. You then will place this exact term in your article that you want to have indexed. Your article does not specifically have to be centered around this term but it does have to have it mentioned at least once or twice. You can make your blog on any subject that you want such as making money online, or how to make a dollar a day or do bodybuilders pick their noses. Supposedly this works for WordPress blogs. This blog is a WordPress blog. I am not sure if it will work with Blogger blogs since it seems that Google may be penalizing them for some reason. If this experiment works then I may try it with a Blogger blog to see it works just the same.
So I put in a search for the term that I just mentioned above: Do Bodybuilders pick their noses. Obviously, the exact term did not exist in Google. Here is a picture showing the results of the search. In red you will see that the search term yielded no results and Google return results for the phrase without quotes.

So now I am going to continue on with this post and see if this experiment will work and try to find out if there is anything that we can learn from this that will help us to make money online. Again this is not intended to make money on the phrase “do bodybuilders pick their noses”; rather it is a test to determine if I can immediately get a page indexed and in doing so get my other terms that I want to rank for out there for Google to see.
Now this could be considered helpful if you were trying to rank for peripheral long tail phrases. Maybe I would want to rank for the phrase money money online with Google Adwords or make money online selling eBay products or how to make a dollar a day from Adsense sites. All of these would be considered long tail phrases that may help my ranking for my overall keyword of make money online or dollar a day.
So let’s see what will happen. It is now 3:10 pm on December 13th. Kansas basketball was just upset by Massachusetts and Georgetown and Memphis are currently in overtime. I am a sports junkie. I am going to save this post and then ping Google blog search and see if we can get indexed and rank for the phrase “do bodybuilders pick their noses.” See you as soon as I see something happen. If it occurs in a few minutes I will be back in a few minutes. If it doesn’t happen for a few hours I will come back then. Either way by the end of the night I will give you an update. Wish me luck.
I pinged Google at 3:16 PM. It is now 3:28 PM and I do not see any results of this page being indexed.
It is now 4:37 PM and I see no sign that the site has been indexed. I am guessing Vic’s site is normally crawled by Google much more often than this one is. I don’t know how long it will take Google to getting around to it but I will keep you posted.
Still nothing at 6:49. I went and put a coat of varnish on some chairs that I am building. I may go put a coats on the last two now.
It is now 9:00 PM the next night. I have still not been indexed. There is a result for the phrase now, however, it is the Technorati listing for my blog after it was pinged. The actual page from my website has not showed up. So from this I would assume that Google has not indexed the page. What this shows is that not all blogs are treated the same. Although I believe Vic Franqui has gives out excellent information without charge it is obvious that Google treats his site much different than it treats mine and maybe yours. Good luck if you try this strategy.
I forgot to check yesterday, but the site is indexed as of 12/16. It may have been there yesterday. So now I show up for the goofy search.
